We are situated in one of the best waterfowling spots in the world.
We have blinds in the Rainwater Basin and near Peru Nebraska that offer
outstanding hunting opportunities in the Central Flyway.
Rainwater Basin
The Rainwater Basin attracts many of the migrating birds using the
Central Flyway. We have a blind here that offers both great fall
waterfowl and spring snow goose hunting.
The Rainwater Basin attracts
:: 90% of mid-continent white-fronted goose population
:: 50% of the mid-continent mallard population
:: 1/3 of the continents pintail population
:: 50% of mid-continent snow goose population
Peru, NE
Our blinds near Peru are located along the Missouri River, just 30
miles from Mound City, Missouri, which is a federal reserve and holds
300,000 geese. 15 miles to the east of us lies Riverton, Iowa which
holds another 300,000 birds. There is a huge power plant 5 miles north
of our blinds which attracts thousands of geese during peak migration.
This has been a very consistent spot over our flooded corn field.
